As I recall though, you missed out on the squirrel stir-fry. Even if you were old enough to eat it, it's been long enough that I can't rightly remember what it tasted like... but I preferred it over the chicken.

The gamiest thing I've had recently has been rabbit. It was curried and tasted much like chicken. So many things taste like chicken that I often wonder why people eat anything other than chicken?
Where I live, we pretty much curry everything, and a great delicacy here is iguana. I've also been tricked into having that as well. Guess what it tasted like? Mhm, chicken!

Iguana, eh? I haven't tried reptile yet. I think I'd try snake or gator before iguana, though. Unless it was a survival situation.

I had an iguana scratch my face. <.< It was actually totally cool with me until the owner moved to take it back and the thing got spooked.
But I don't think I've had reptile either. Unagi (eel) sushi is pretty awesome though.

Well I consider that that iguana we ate was revenge for that spooked one scratching your face. They're truly ugleh creatures though. My cousin was like "Taste this, tell me if it needs anything." I did and I said something along the lines of "Holy crap! This has so much pepper I can't feel my tongue anymore!!" Then he told me "Guess what you're eating. Iguana! " Oh speaking of seafood, we also eat shark. It's quite tasty actually. It's quite similar to catfish. Mmmm yummy. So when sharks bite others, we bite shark. Mwahahahaha!!!!

Aw, but I liked the iquana, even after it scratched me.
And I lied. I've had turtle soup twice in my life, so I have had reptile. Also, frog legs, so amphibian too.
I've talked to people who've had shark, but I don't think I have. But I've had both octopus and squid.

Raccoon is mammal. Not reptile, or anything similar.
And no, I didn't have raccoon. We missed that, remember? Family finished it before we got there.

Almost every time I have something weird and game-y, it's because I've been tricked into it. In the same vein, I've had turtle, deer (they made me eat Bambi ), the iguana as mentioned above, and frog. Well, frog's legs anyway, I hope I do remember that one because I thought it was a rather interesting fish-like taste. Then I found out I was eating Kermit. I was not amused. I have also stopped eating anything cooked by or at that cousin that isn't vegetarian. He's a sneaky one, he is!

I've pretty much always known what I was eating in advance. And I just try not to think about it as a living thing. ^^

And the fact that raccoon is a mere mammal doesn't stop it from being an uncommon food. Less common than squid, maybe even shark. And we did have some. They saved us a bowl's worth. Tasted like beef, remember? Isis wrote: (they made me eat Bambi ) Bambi meat is good.

Not really, no. And hush. <.< Clearly, I forgot what all I posted. However, that had a theme, too. While not reptiles and amphibians, it was marine animals. So raccoon still doesn't fit.
